[link] <--- Randy Pausch, a great man with a great story, please visit his homepage and help raise awareness of pancreatic cancer, a hideous disease with no early diagnose. And i fully recommend everyone download his "last lecture" abour "really achieving your childhood dreams" on september 18, 2007 at CMU.

On August 2007, his pancreatic cancer worsen, the cancer had spread into dozens, affecting his spleen and liver, he was informed by the doctor that he had six months of good health left, in other means, death.

And here's some very very very very very great and meaningful phrase in his "Last Lecture".

1. Brick wall's appearance are there for a reason. "They let us prove how badly we want things." <-- Randy emphasised this.

2. "If you're screwing, and nobody is saying anything to you anymore, that means they gave up." <-- Very true, no doubts.

3."Your critiques are the ones telling you that they love you and care." <-- No critiques no life. To hell with cynics and skeptics.

4."Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted." <---- Yes it is.

5. "Meeting your childhood idol is cool, but it's cooler when your idol comes to see what cool things you're doing." <-- this is when one of Randy's dream, "Being Captain Kirk (Which was later on changed to "Meeting Captain Kirk" by Randy), William Shatner ( The guy who played as Star Trek's Captain Kirk) came to visit Randy at CMU to have a look on Virtual Reality, and get ideas for his latest book.

6. "Most of what we learn, we learn indirectly (headfake)." <-- I love this. In the end of his lecture, there was 2 awesome headfake, you gotta watch it.

7. "When you're pissed off at somebody and you're angry at them, you just haven't give them enought time." <-- Yup.

8. "Brick walls let us show our dedication." <--- Agreed.

9."Don't bail, the best gold is at the bottom of barrels of crap." <-- lol i love this.

10. "Find the best in everybody. No matter how you have to wait for them to show it." <-- Nothing i could do besides nodding my head.

11. "Be good at something, it makes you valuable." <--- Hell ya!

12. "Luck is where preparation meets opportunity." <--- Nods.

13. "Don't complain, just work harder." <-- I shall never complain again.

And a whole lot more, I've watched his video again and again, and I get more everytime i watch it. You guys should really really check it out.


Randy Pausch passed away at 25th of July, 2008.
